About this Section
Eventually, this page will include a collection of old family videos from the archives. I haven't spent much time working on digitizing video yet. The available tools to restore old video have been improving rapidly, so I hope by the time I'm ready to work on this the process will be much easier.
For now, I'll embed the latest video posted to the Tuccy Videos YouTube channel
This section is still in early development. The eventual plan is to add links to a number of YouTube playlists once I get around to digitizing the box of 8mm film in the basement.
Latest Videos
I came across a VHS tape with some old Thorsen family videos last fall. I digitized the tape and performed some basic corrections to improve the quality. I decided not to spend too much effort on restoration, as the original quality was quite poor and I believe I might have the original 8mm films that were used to create the tape. Digitizing the master 8mm films should produce much better results.
The first set of videos feature the Thorsen family celebrating Christmas during the 1950s. The full playlist is available on YouTube at:
